  • @simplysuzu -  This was quite an easy and fun photo to take, actually. All you have to do is take a piece of cardboard, cut it in the shape of whatever bokeh pattern you’re after, and stick it on top of the lens. Since that is going to be smaller than your lens’s aperture, it becomes the “new” aperture. And just like how polygonal apertures lead to ugly polygon bokeh, patterned apertures can lead to pretty patterned bokeh! :)
